Our Story
Growing up as a science enthusiast, our founder, Alwisha Patwardhan Madyalkar, was always passionate about delving into the intricacies of our everyday consumption. This drive led her to develop her skills as a scientist and work as a researcher in the pharmaceutical industry.
During her sabbatical leave and following the birth of her child, Alwisha experienced an unpleasant discovery. The makeup products she had been using caused rashes on her face, prompting her to minimize their usage for the next four years. Her relentless pursuit of cleaner beauty products and research continued until she decided to create her own makeup products in her kitchen that could also be safely used by her young daughter.
Starting with the formulation of a simple yet effective lip balm, Alwisha underwent numerous iterations until she achieved a perfect balance. Along the way, she extensively researched the ingredients typically found in such products, exploring alternatives and developing a clean lipstick formula using the purest, natural ingredients. This journey spanned approximately two years, during which Alwisha created her own formulas for lipsticks, lip and cheek tints, eyeshadows, foundations, and many more.
It was at this point that Alwisha contemplated the idea of sharing the goodness of clean beauty with others and spreading the love. Thus, Tinsel&Too Organico was born, with the primary goal of providing people with cleaner beauty products that contain fewer ingredients while exuding maximum glamour! Our products are infused with skincare elements, not only enhancing your beauty but also providing care and nourishment.
